Design, present our ideas, produce patterns,

I am just in the middle basking in my glory!

                                                     Back view...

My favourite shame am not a size 8!

In the fitting process.

Learned a lot last year especially living away from home for the first time ever! As well as skills gained through university, my flat mate and I have:

1. learned how to live with more or less no money to feed yourself
2. How to balance university and having a job (16 hours a week in a different city)
3. Kept our long term Bfs happy
4. Held a social life with friends (hardly, but they understand)
5. How to drive in snow on country roads at stupid o'clock
6. How to pull an all nighter for two days to finish course work

My fourth year collection will probably not be as visually pleasing as I think I will be doing something along the lines of developing a medical garment. We shall see... keep you posted haha!

Lingerie Making Weekend!

I strongly recommend anyone who is interested in making there own lingerie to do so!
- SOOOOO WORTH IT!

Some people might be an unusual size or struggle to get certain styles but for me I just love everything about lingerie and enjoy making clothes!! I think the spark for lingerie started 3 years ago when I got a job in La Senza and was actually measured into my correct size. Then from then on I got trained how to measure and fit a bra properly. So much to take in but there is definitely benefits from wearing the right size. If you haven't been measured. Please go get a fitting, in any lingerie shop because your probably wearing the wrong size.

Anyway, it was pretty rewarding learning all the couture sewing techniques involved, even though the bra doesn't fit... at least I know how to make it! Also very proud of myself for travelling from Scotland to London on my own haha!!

Looks like a bat, I am easily amused if you haven't noticed!!

Now we are talking, cup is inserted I remember buzzing
because it was all coming together now!

Close up of the fabric, I layered a shimmery gold under the black polkadot!

Me at working hard, elastic on pants is a tricky job.

Finished hehe... shame its a 32C, I had to give my Mum it, fits her like a glove!

This was some of the examples we were shown on the Friday morning! If you love underwear and vintage stuff as much as me you can appreciate how buzzing I was when I took this picture.
I am such a geek!

Anyways was an amazing learning experience for me and I met some very nice people while I was there. The course was worth every penny! If you are struggling to find a lingerie course, I will post the link below for those who would like a swatch! Also if you google lingerie courses and there cheap its because they're probably rubbish :) read reviews!
